In March 2017, OMS SACEDE won an important contract in the area of water treatment services for Junca Gelatines SL. The object of the new contract is a full service provision in the area of industrial water treatment in Girona, Catalonia.

Junca gelatines SL is a family-owned company. It is Spain’s largest producer of gelatines and collagen hydrolysates. Founded in 1947, the company provides important substances for the production of foods, but also pharmaceuticals and dietary products.   

In the framework of the new contract concluded with Gelatines Junca, OMS-SACEDE’s service portfolio includes the operation of Junca’s industrial Waste Water Treatment Plant or WWTP, reverse osmosis facilities, decalcification equipment, water tanks, steam boilers and cooling towers. The new contract will include facility maintenance, scheduled revisions and membranes changes. OMS-SACEDE had previously been in charge for the design, assembly and operation of the plant in Girona.

OMS-SACEDE is set to start operations in May 2017 for a period of five years.
